(p.s. Silentsong, aren't you Ashnight's apprentice? but since that hasn't happened yet, Ashnight's still pretty old to have had an apprentice in her 30ish moons)
Moonflight dipped her head in mourn the great leader, muttering kind words about how she had been during Moonflight's childhood.
The the question about brightpack arose. Where would they go to communicate with Brightpack. Ashnight had to speak with them before coming leader. Until then, weren't they leaderless?
(Who will find Moonpool if we have no healer?)

(Silentsong will be my apprentice once she gets tired of being a pup.)
(Maybe some pups or warriors or X-alpha or almost alpha find it. Since there is currently no healer.)

(Yea, I think alphas have to have had at least one apprentice, that's why I'd asked. Let's just say Ashnight has. And I don't want to be an apprentice here just yet, since this is in History role play, and in current role play I'm still a pup. Don't worry, I'll graduate soon.  |

(Ok silentsong. And silvershadow, I know you care about our ancestors, that's why I respect you so much, well one of the reasons. And I think it would be cool if moonflight or silentsong or silvershadow finds it.)

 Ok, back to the posting here. The pack was stunned. Tension wrought the air and nobody felt like eating anymore. Wolves were submerged deep in thought, and a few kept glancing up. Silentsong could guess that they were wondering if BrightPack really did follow us, and if Heronfeather would be able to find them. Silentsong turned towards the new alpha pair. Hurry up, if you want to earn all of their respect, quickly do something now! This is the best time! They're in a panicky mood, and if you sound confident and at least attempt to solve their problems, that will be a good start!! Silentsong caught Ashnight's eye, and twitched her head slightly towards the chaotic pack. |

Silvershadow knew he had to calm down the pack, they needed someone to reassure them. He got to his feet and barked, "My pack. Do not worry, I'm know that Brightpack have followed us and that Heronfeather will be able to find them. They are waiting for her..." his voice cracked as he looked at his mother's dead body. Please let my words be true.

Moonflight heard the quaver in Silvershadow's voice. Did he not believe what he said? Moonflight shivered at the thought that even the alphas were unsure in this time of need.

"He is right." Ashnight said stepping up next tho silvershadow. "~Brightpack watches over us, no matter where we are~. We must believe in that. I'm sure brightpack has followed and is thinking about how to get to share their thoughts with us." The pack brightened up a little when they remembered the oath. They calmed down, still a little panicked though. Ashnight felt the joy of knowing she just benefited the whole pack, without officially being alpha.
